On the afternoon of 25 November, a study tour themed “Innovating Materials Technology to Lead Industrial Upgrading,” jointly organized by the Rudong County Development and Reform Commission (DRC) and the County Entrepreneurs Association, was held at XINGI TECH. Gu Benyong, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Rudong County Committee and Executive Deputy County Mayor, Dai Feng, Deputy County Mayor, Yu Haijie, Director of the County DRC, and Yuan Weihua, Deputy Director of the County DRC, together with representatives of member companies of the County Entrepreneurs Association, gathered to explore paths for coordinated development of the new materials industry. XINGI TECH Chairman Zhou Xinji received the delegation throughout the visit and took part in the discussion.The delegation visited the XINGI TECH exhibition hall, Jiangsu XINGI TECH New Material Co., Ltd., and the production lines at XINGI TECH’s Xiaoyangkou plant. Through hands-on examination of products and inspections of the workshops, they learned about the full process by which ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber moves from R&D to end-use application, and spoke highly of the company’s production technology, product performance, production capacity, and application compatibility.After the site visit, the delegation held a seminar in the third-floor meeting room. Chairman Zhou Xinji extended a sincere welcome to the guests; Vice General Manager Niu Yanfeng explained the innovative R&D and development direction of UHMWPE fiber; Deputy County Mayor Dai Feng reported on Rudong’s steady economic performance; entrepreneur representatives shared the current status and future plans of their own companies along with their views on innovation-driven development; and Executive Deputy County Mayor Gu Benyong delivered concluding remarks, highly affirming the value of the event and putting forward three expectations: first, enterprises should firm up confidence and seize the opportunities created by industrial upgrading; second, they should strengthen their internal capabilities and focus on their core business to enhance competitiveness; third, the government will act as a “gold-medal service provider” to support enterprise development.
