On January 9, 2026, the scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting for the “Complete Production Equipment for High-Performance Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) Fiber” project, organized by the China Textile Machinery Association, concluded successfully at the XINGI TECH headquarters building. The project was undertaken under the leadership of Jiangsu XINGI TECH New Material Co., Ltd. Following questioning, discussion, and appraisal by the appraisal committee, the overall technology of this equipment was judged to have reached the internationally advanced level, marking a major breakthrough in independent innovation in China’s high-end fiber equipment sector. Relevant leaders from the China Textile Machinery Association and the China Chemical Fibers Association (CCFA) attended the meeting.
Experts from the appraisal committee and relevant association leaders conducted on-site inspections of the XINGI TECH New Material production base one after another, observed the operation of the complete equipment and the fiber product production process on site, and heard the project report from the undertaking unit.
The project was led by XINGI TECH New Material and jointly undertaken with key domestic universities and leading enterprises. After sustained research, the project team achieved key technical breakthroughs in multiple areas. The appraisal committee unanimously agreed that the project’s overall technology has reached the internationally advanced level and recommended further accelerating its market promotion and application.
Zhou Xinji, Chairman of XINGI TECH, said that the company will take this appraisal as a new starting point, continue to increase its investment in research and development, drive the iterative upgrading of technological equipment, and contribute “XINGI strength” to the independent and controllable development of China’s high-performance fiber equipment and the high-quality development of the UHMWPE fiber industry.
