XINGI TECH and Nantong University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Association Hold Exchange Meeting on Coordinated Development of New Materials Industry Resources
On the morning of 7 May 2026, Zhang Naihua, advisor to the Nantong Elite University Innovation and Entrepreneurship Promotion Association (hereafter “the Association”) and full-time member of the Standing Committee of the Nantong Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and Xu Guoxiang, advisor to the Association and former Deputy Secretary-General of the Standing Committee of the Nantong Municipal People’s Congress, visited XINGI TECH Co., Ltd. for inspection and exchange together with representatives of several university alumni associations. Zhou Xinji, Secretary of the CPC Party Committee and Chairman of the company, received them throughout, and the two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including resource alignment and innovation synergy.The Association representatives accompanying the visit were: Wu Bin, Vice President of the Association and President of the Xiamen University Nantong Alumni Association; Tang Xiaojun, Vice President of the Association and President of the Wuhan University of Technology Nantong Alumni Association; Yu Dong, Director of the Association’s Finance, Taxation and Law Committee and President of the Nanjing Audit University Nantong Alumni Association; Shen Yan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Association and Secretary-General of the Huai’an University Nantong Alumni Association; and Ge Gaofei, member of the Association’s Secretariat and Secretary-General of the Nanjing University of Science and Technology Nantong Alumni Association.
The two sides first held a discussion meeting in the company’s conference room. Chairman Zhou Xinji warmly welcomed the Association delegation and gave a detailed account of XINGI TECH’s development history, technological accumulation and industrial layout as a long-standing player in the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber field, focusing on the company’s latest achievements in technology R&D, capacity building and market expansion, as well as its strategic plans for future application scenarios of high-end new materials. The Association delegation introduced the advantages of its platform, which covers 42 universities and more than 100,000 elite alumni, and its service functions in talent matching, industry-academia-research collaboration and industrial empowerment. The two sides had a full exchange of views on macro issues including industry development trends, cross-sector resource sharing and the direction for implementing university-enterprise cooperation, reaching broad consensus in areas such as joint talent development, the translation of technological achievements, mutual access to market resources and collaborative innovation along the industrial chain, which laid a good foundation for subsequent multi-level, practical cooperation.After the discussion meeting, Chairman Zhou Xinji accompanied the Association delegation on a tour of the company’s exhibition hall, which presents XINGI TECH’s development history over more than a decade and its core achievements. During the visit, the delegation learned in detail about the products’ application scenarios in fields including national defense and the military industry, marine engineering, safety protection and unmanned aerial vehicles, and spoke highly of the company’s technological strength, industry position and development prospects.XINGI TECH said that this exchange was an important opportunity for the company to connect with external innovation resources and expand its cooperation network. Going forward, the company will take this exchange as a starting point to further deepen its engagement with the Association and alumni in various fields, fully leverage the talent, technology and resource advantages of the alumni platform, jointly explore paths for collaborative industry-academia-research innovation, inject new momentum into the company’s high-quality development and contribute to the upgrading of the local new materials industry.
