At the discussion meeting, Shao Haiquan first extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Nantong Institute of Technology on behalf of the company. He said that, as a locally rooted, distinctive application-oriented undergraduate institution, Nantong Institute of Technology had over the years supplied Nantong’s local manufacturing sector with a large number of technical and managerial talents suited to job requirements. This exchange served both as a matchmaking meeting where the two sides could share their needs and as an opportunity to bring them closer, and he looked forward to establishing long-term ties with the institute in areas including talent supply, Party and Youth League organization building, and cultural interaction, so as to achieve mutual empowerment between the enterprise and the local university.
Chen Bing then gave a detailed introduction covering the company’s development history, core business layout, technology R&D directions and talent needs. He noted that the company was currently at the initial stage of its digital and intelligent transformation toward “AI + intelligent manufacturing.” On the one hand, it needed more professional technical support in areas such as safety and environmental protection control, composite material R&D, and the intelligent upgrading of production; on the other hand, it had sustained and strong demand for application-oriented talent in safety management, materials engineering and intelligent manufacturing. He looked forward to establishing a regular communication mechanism with Nantong Institute of Technology and exploring more feasible paths for cooperation in talent development and technical alignment.
Chen Bin then introduced Nantong Institute of Technology’s educational features, academic program offerings and talent development positioning, highlighting the advantages of its School of Safety Engineering and Emergency Management and its materials-related programs in closely aligning with regional industrial needs, as well as the institute’s resources in supplying application-oriented talent and translating research results into practice. He said that XINGI TECH, as a leading local enterprise in the high-performance new materials field, matched well with the institute’s relevant programs, and expressed the hope that this exchange would serve as a starting point for gradually exploring areas of cooperation.
During the exchange, the two sides also held preliminary coordination on the Party-building exchange activity planned for June, exchanging initial views on its direction and the scope of participants. The Party and administrative offices of both sides will serve as the liaison points for further refining the arrangements.
