Party Building Brings Us Together: XINGI TECH CPC Party Committee and the CPC Party Committee of the Hai'an Campus of Nantong Institute of Technology Sign a Party-Building Pairing Agreement
To comprehensively and thoroughly implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, closely follow the economic and social development framework for the 15th Five-Year Plan period and focus on high-quality development and the cultivation of new quality productive forces, the signing ceremony for the Party-building pairing partnership between the XINGI TECH CPC Party Committee and the CPC Party Committee of the Hai’an Campus of Nantong Institute of Technology was held on the afternoon of 30 June in the meeting room on the 15th floor of the comprehensive building at the Hai’an Campus. Shao Haiquan, Deputy Secretary of the XINGI TECH CPC Party Committee and Chairman of the trade union, led the delegation to the event. Chen Bin, Assistant to the Chairman of Nantong Institute of Technology and Director of the Hai’an Campus Administrative Committee; Zhong Haiyan, Deputy Secretary of the Campus CPC Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee; and heads of relevant departments of the Hai’an Campus attended the ceremony. Zhong Haiyan presided over the signing ceremony.
At the start of the event, Shao Haiquan and his delegation toured the campus’s Lei Feng Hall, the Character Development Hall, the laboratories of the School of Safety and Emergency Management and the e-commerce service center. Nantong Institute of Technology is a full-time undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education. Founded in 2000, it has two campuses, in Nantong and Hai’an, covering more than 1,700 mu (about 113 hectares) with a floor area of over 800,000 square meters; it has 14 secondary schools and 60 undergraduate programs, with more than 27,000 enrolled students. Upholding the school motto “Great Virtue, Strong Competence, Unity of Knowledge and Action”, the institute ranks among the top private undergraduate institutions in China in research competitiveness: it ranked 21st in overall competitiveness in 2025, 5th in research competitiveness (natural sciences) and 4th in value-added evaluation in 2026, and ranked first among private undergraduate universities nationwide in the number of authorized invention patents for two consecutive years, 2024 and 2025. Its talent cultivation has produced notable results: over the past decade its students have won a total of 8,334 competition awards; in 2024 it ranked 179th nationwide and 2nd among private universities nationwide in the University Student Competition Index; over the past three years, more than 83 percent of its graduates found employment in the Yangtze River Delta region and more than 72 percent within Jiangsu Province, graduates’ average satisfaction with their own development reached 94 percent, and a total of 1,757 students were admitted to postgraduate programs, nearly 300 of them by Double First-Class universities.
At the signing ceremony, Chen Bin extended a warm welcome to the XINGI TECH delegation and introduced the Hai’an Campus’s development scale and discipline development, highlighting the institute’s strengths in independent invention patents and core overall competitiveness. He said he hoped that this Party-building pairing partnership would serve as a new starting point for building a regular university-enterprise linkage, promoting the exchange of resources and complementary strengths, precisely matching the company’s talent and technological development needs, advancing deep industry-academia-research integration and achieving win-win outcomes for all parties.
Shao Haiquan spoke highly of the institute’s educational philosophy and practice-oriented education model. He said that the university-enterprise Party-building pairing partnership was an important opportunity to deepen university-enterprise linkage and had created an efficient platform for exchange and collaboration. In the future, with Party building as the guide, the advantages of Party-building work would be converted into core momentum for the company’s innovative development, standardized management and efficient production, and Party-building outcomes would continue to be translated into social value. He also expressed the hope that the two sides would use the partnership platform to carry out regular two-way exchanges, deepen talent mobility, resource connectivity and mutual development, and advance together for mutual benefit.
The two sides then jointly signed the Party-Building Pairing Agreement, which sets out that, with Party building as the guide, they will carry out in-depth cooperation in organizational co-building, joint talent cultivation, industry-academia-research integration, team connectivity and shared services, promote the exchange of resources and complementary strengths, and achieve two-way empowerment and win-win development.
In the session for sharing experience on Party-building brand projects, the institute gave a presentation titled “Party Building Drives Development, Moral Education Upholds Our Mission”. XINGI TECH, together with its corporate video, shared its experience under the theme “Party Building Brings Us Together, Integrated Development Opens a New Chapter”, systematically describing the company Party Committee’s practical exploration in strengthening political guidance, promoting the integration of Party building with business and building strong grassroots organizations, and showing the path and results of using high-quality Party building to support the company’s high-quality development.
Zhong Haiyan summarized the direction of the partnership. She said that the Party-building pairing partnership was an important measure for the university and the company to integrate their advantageous resources and empower each other, and that in the future the campus would actively benchmark itself against industry leaders, learn from XINGI TECH’s advanced corporate management model, technology R&D experience and Party-building mechanisms, and build a distinctive university-enterprise Party-building brand.
After the presentations, the two sides held in-depth exchanges on key topics including joint Party building, order-based talent cultivation, two-way mobility of high-level talent, joint application for research projects and high-quality employment for graduates.It is worth noting that on 7 May this year, Chen Bin led a delegation to visit XINGI TECH for inspection and exchange, during which the two sides had friendly interactions on topics such as university-enterprise industry-academia-research matching and talent cultivation, laying a solid foundation for the signing of this agreement.This Party-building pairing partnership is an important practice by the XINGI TECH CPC Party Committee in deepening university-enterprise cooperation and promoting the integration of Party building with business. Both sides agreed that, taking the signing of the agreement as a new starting point, they would continue to improve regular communication mechanisms, translate the outcomes of joint Party building into tangible results that advance their undertakings and serve the local economy, and jointly write a new chapter of university-enterprise collaboration and mutual benefit.
