XINGI TECH Invited to the FINE2026 Future Industry New Materials Expo to Give a Keynote Report

Recently, the 2026 Future Industry New Materials Expo (FINE2026) was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, bringing together more than 800 exhibiting companies and more than 300 cutting-edge technology presentations and presenting a full picture of innovation in future industries such as the low-altitude economy, aerospace and artificial intelligence. As a global leader in the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber field, XINGI TECH Co., Ltd. attended at the invitation of the organizing committee and delivered a keynote report titled “Current Applications of UHMWPE Fiber and New Solutions for UAV Applications” at the Low-Altitude Aircraft and Aerospace Industry Innovation Forum.

In the report, XINGI TECH systematically presented the company’s path of industrial upgrading from fiber products to aerospace composites, covering four aspects: an introduction to the company and its products, fiber application areas, and new solutions for UAV applications. Addressing the industry pain point that modern UAVs generally rely on wireless signals such as GPS, 5G and data and video links while conventional metal and carbon fiber airframe materials tend to shield electromagnetic waves and interfere with signal transmission, the report focused on the unique advantages of UHMWPE fiber as a full-band wave-transparent structural material: in the 8–12 GHz band, its electromagnetic wave reflectance and loss rate are about 4 percent and 2 percent, significantly lower than the 9 percent and 3 percent of aramid. With this property, UAVs can transmit signals without attenuation, achieving more accurate positioning and more stable data and video links; at the same time, no separate “wave-transparent window” needs to be opened for the antenna, making the airframe structure more complete and integrated. The report drew wide attention from attending experts, scholars and corporate representatives.
This year, the world’s first UAV whose primary load-bearing structure is made of UHMWPE fiber-reinforced composite, developed under the leadership of XINGI TECH, successfully completed its maiden flight test, with all flight indicators meeting design expectations, filling a global gap in the use of the material in aviation. Supported by a complete closed technological loop covering fiber treatment, interface modification, composite molding and structural verification built over five years, the aircraft further reduces airframe weight while ensuring structural strength and improves impact resistance, giving aircraft longer endurance and greater payload capacity and offering a “Chinese solution” for eVTOL lightweighting.
In the future, XINGI TECH will continue to deepen technological innovation and application development for UHMWPE fiber, accelerate the large-scale application of the material in fields such as the low-altitude economy and aerospace, and support the high-quality development of future industries with the hard strength of new materials.
