At around 5 p.m. on August 17, Zhang Liqun, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and President of South China University of Technology, Guo Baochun, Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at South China University of Technology, Professor Wang Wencai of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Wang Jianchang, Secretary of the President’s Office of South China University of Technology, and their delegation visited XINGI TECH Co., Ltd. to inspect and guide its work. Mr. Zhou Xinji, Chairman of the company, accompanied the visit.
Guided by relevant company personnel, Academician Zhang and his delegation toured the company’s plant layout, production line configuration and process flow. On the production front line, Academician Zhang inquired in detail about production and the operation of certain process sections, held in-depth exchanges with technical staff, and offered a number of insightful suggestions for the company to note and follow up on.
Academician Zhang said that after visiting the production workshops he could better appreciate the difficulties XINGI TECH had encountered in the course of its development and the scale it has achieved today. He expressed sincere admiration for the achievements of Chairman Zhou Xinji as a private entrepreneur and great expectations for the cooperation project between South China University of Technology and XINGI TECH. Chairman Zhou Xinji thanked Academician Zhang for his recognition and exchanged views on site about the cooperation between the university and the company. He sincerely welcomed Academician Zhang and other experts and scholars to visit XINGI TECH often, to jointly advance UHMWPE fiber development to a new level and help the company transform and upgrade into a world-class provider of UHMWPE fiber application solutions.
