On February 28, the XINGI TECH management team visited the National Engineering Research Center of Novel Equipment for Polymer Processing at South China University of Technology and toured the center’s laboratories and processing plant, which left a deep impression on them.
At the strategic cooperation signing ceremony, Vice President Zhu Min briefed those present on the university and its expectations for university-enterprise cooperation. Academician Qu Jinping described the advanced nature of the technology developed jointly with the company and the feasibility of overturning UHMWPE fiber‘s traditional processing methods and achieving green, energy-saving and highly efficient production, thereby placing the company’s production technology at the leading level of the global industry. At the meeting, XINGI TECH Chairman Zhou Xinji and Academician Qu Jinping of South China University of Technology signed the strategic agreement.
After the meeting, Zhang Liqun, President of South China University of Technology and an academician, received the company’s management team. He offered forward-looking suggestions on the company’s market positioning for UHMWPE fiber and the direction of downstream application development, and encouraged the company to step up technological innovation and strive to become a benchmark enterprise in the global industry.
