On the afternoon of 11 July, Chairman Zhou Xinji and his delegation visited Nantong University for talks on industry-academia-research cooperation, and were received by Mo Chenyu, Member of the Standing Committee of the University’s CPC Party Committee and Vice President of the University.
At the talks, Vice President Mo welcomed Zhou Xinji and his delegation on behalf of the university and introduced the strengths and development achievements of Nantong University in the textile and mechanical engineering disciplines. She expressed the hope that university-enterprise cooperation would strengthen interaction between industry and research, so that the two sides could leverage their respective strengths and empower each other in talent cultivation, award applications, key technological research, commercialization of research results and public-interest cooperation, jointly advancing innovation in the textile and machinery industries and making greater contributions to local economic and social development. Chairman Zhou Xinji said that closer cooperation with universities helps promote research innovation, accelerate the commercialization of results and speed up industrial upgrading. He hoped that deeper cooperation would further strengthen the company’s talent team building, enhance its research capabilities and advance innovative applications, thereby supporting the company’s high-quality development.
Before the talks, Zhou Xinji and his delegation visited the National-Local Joint Engineering Research Center for the R&D of Special Fiber Composites for Safety Protection and the Fan Zeng Art Gallery at Nantong University.
