On the morning of the 31st, Zhang Liqun, President of Xi’an Jiaotong University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and his delegation visited the XINGI TECH headquarters building to give guidance. Zhou Xinji, Chairman of the company, received the delegation warmly and accompanied them throughout the visit.
Academician Zhang Liqun and his delegation first toured the XINGI TECH exhibition hall. Chairman Zhou Xinji accompanied them and introduced the company’s development history, product features, downstream applications and future development plans. The leaders and experts from Xi’an Jiaotong University then exchanged views on site with relevant XINGI TECH personnel on the topics that interested them. Academician Zhang Liqun also offered professional views on the development of polymer materials and put forward valuable insights on the directions for expanding XINGI TECH’s downstream applications.
The two sides then moved to the conference room for in-depth discussions. At the symposium, Chairman Zhou Xinji expressed heartfelt gratitude to Academician Zhang Liqun for his long-standing interest in and support for the development of XINGI TECH, and invited the leaders and experts of Xi’an Jiaotong University to offer more valuable opinions and suggestions on the company’s development. He also expressed the hope of establishing a long-term, stable, friendly and in-depth cooperative relationship with Xi’an Jiaotong University.
Academician Zhang Liqun first affirmed the development results XINGI TECH had achieved and encouraged the company to accomplish newer and greater breakthroughs in the future. Drawing on the latest information from home and abroad, he proposed several downstream application markets and industries that XINGI TECH could attempt to develop, and also offered corresponding solutions to the difficulties the company currently faces in market development.
Afterwards, Chen Juan, Deputy Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology; Xing Xiaoqiang, Secretary-General of the Education Foundation; Ding Shujiang, Dean of the School of Chemistry; Chen Fei, Deputy Dean of the School of Chemical Engineering; Zhang Wenxue, Deputy Director of the CPC Party Committee Office and the President’s Office; and Wang Chaofeng, Executive Deputy Director of the National Technology Transfer Center, held in-depth exchanges with XINGI TECH on professional research results, the development of distinctive disciplines, directions for industry-academia-research cooperation and pathways for university-enterprise cooperation. Chairman Zhou Xinji and other company leaders present said they had benefited greatly from the discussions.
Finally, Academician Zhang Liqun warmly invited Chairman Zhou Xinji to lead a delegation to Xi’an Jiaotong University and the China Western Science and Technology Innovation Harbor for field research. Chairman Zhou Xinji gladly accepted the invitation and said he would pay a visit at a suitable time.
The symposium came to a successful close in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. At the end of the meeting, Xi’an Jiaotong University and XINGI TECH held a brief signing ceremony for the relevant cooperation projects.
